History
Our flagship sake brand “Mongai Fushutsu” is born.
Four buildings are registered as Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan: the Nagayamon Gate, the Brewing House, the Bottling House, and the Brick Chimney.

Tochigi’s first whisky distillery, “Nikko Kaido Oyama Distillery,” opens.
